Hannah Kerr Announces Birth of First Child

Singer/songwriter and We Love Awards winner Hannah Kerr announced that her first child, Owen Shepherd Earley, was born on July 29 at 858 am. Weighing 7 lbs 1 oz, Kerr said on social media that her baby came three and a half weeks early.

“[Owen] just couldn’t wait to join the party,” Kerr posted along with a family picture. “God’s mercy and kindness are in every detail of the story, especially the ones we didn’t even know to pray for. He is healthy and strong, and we’re so grateful for this blessing God has given us. Welcome to the world, Owen!”

Kerr said that Owen is a family name meaning “a noble young warrior,” and Shepherd means a born leader.
