Good Things Collective Announces Upcoming New Song

Worship group Good Things Collective returns with an uptempo, female led, service opener called “House of Praise,” releasing August 29 via Real Fun Records. This song declares and confesses that we need to shift Sunday morning expectations, inviting the Church to recognize the reality that we’re not asking God into our space, we’re stepping into His.

Right from the start the lyric, “God, this is Your house, come take Your rightful place,” reminds us of who truly leads the Church.

“We were at a church songwriting camp kind of laughing at how often we say, ‘God, we invite You in,’ when it’s actually His house,” Jesse Phillips, one of the writers, shares. “This song is our way of recognizing Him back at the center.”
